Hundreds of parents in the Buffalo Public Schools gathered 12/8/11 to hear from local, state and federal education experts and public officials about turnaround plans for the city’s low-performing schools and other issues.The districts first Parent Assembly seeks to draw one parent from every classroom in the public schools, in the auditorium of the Academy for Visual and Performing Arts.
